What is SIG?

The Southwest Information Gateway (SIG) is an annotated catalog of web resources related to the Southwestern U.S. and Northwestern Mexico. Our goal in creating SIG was to evaluate, bring together, and provide easy access to the vast array of online Southwestern information resources—web sites, online databases, image banks, and more. The completed Gateway includes a wide variety of high–quality, non-commercial sites relating to Southwest studies. All resources included in SIG have been evaluated for information accuracy and reliability. Resources are arranged by subject and resource type, and can also be searched by keyword.
